RescueNet CaseReview and CodeWriter for Hospital
RescueNet® CaseReview and CodeWriter are part of the RescueNet CodeNet® system, which brings together accurate resuscitation documentation and robust data analytics to make actionable resuscitation response improvements.
RescueNet CaseReview
The RescueNet CaseReview software system collects, collates, and manages resuscitation data to improve CPR accuracy and simplify debriefing. Data files from ZOLL® defibrillators can be sent to RescueNet CaseReview. You can immediately access the accurate, robust data that's necessary to complete the performance-focused debriefing after every adult and paediatric cardiac arrest.
The resuscitation data — CPR quality, ECGs, EtCO2 values, and more — is succinctly presented in intuitive, colourful graphics. RescueNet CaseReview collects detailed CPR quality metrics directly from ZOLL CPR electrodes, using Real CPR Help® technology. The rate and depth of each compression is recorded, as well as release velocity, how often pauses in compressions occurred, and how long they lasted. In addition to immediate information after a single event, historical data can be reviewed and parsed to determine areas that need improvement.
Data Security is Key
Our newest, most comprehensive worry-free platform, the ZOLL European Cloud Solution, is now available to our European customers. RescueNet CaseReview software is hosted in a secure, EU-based cloud environment:
- GDPR-compliant
- Access data from anywhere inside and outside the hospital environment
- Automatic updates
- No local installation or support required
RescueNet CodeWriter
RescueNet CodeWriter provides an accurate, easy-to-use mobile application that can be accessed from a mobile phone or tablet to electronically document the entire code event.
Documenting a resuscitation event requires immediate, accurate recording of critical information. Capturing key data under the stress of the code can result in inaccuracies due to:
- Manual documentation via paper and pencil
- Misspelled words or incorrect medication doses
- Lack of experience — particularly if the documenter is not ALS-trained
- Inconsistent times on a wristwatch, defibrillator, and wall clock
- Varying documentation formats and information collected
When the documentation file from RescueNet CodeWriter is linked to the associated defibrillator record, the timelines are merged and can be viewed in RescueNet CaseReview, providing a complete record of the event. Reviewers can then use CaseReview to create custom trend reports, simplifying facilitation of monthly reports to the code committee or staff meetings.
