AED Pro for EMS
The AED Pro defibrillator is designed for both basic and advanced life support. While it offers guidance to the BLS rescuer, it also provides more advanced capabilities for the professional rescuer.
Support for all rescuers
Designed for both basic and advanced life support, the AED Pro® defibrillator not only provides advanced CPR feedback, it's also a vital signs patient monitor that can be configured to the way you work.
The AED Pro offers flexibility to meet your needs. You can choose from a long-life non-rechargeable battery or one of two rechargeable batteries with varying shelf lives.
Proven ZOLL technology to improve outcomes
The AED Pro defibrillator provides the feedback used by rescuers to nearly triple survival rates.1 It provides the feedback professionals as well as lay rescuers need to perform optimal CPR.
The ANZCOR emphasises the importance of CPR Feedback: “CPR quality measurement is needed to provide timely feedback to the responding providers.” The ZOLL® AED Pro device provides the feedback professional and lay rescuers alike need to perform optimal CPR.
When a shock is needed, ZOLL provides more current and more proven defibrillation efficacy with its Rectilinear Biphasic waveform (RBW) than leading competitors. RBW was designed specifically for external defibrillation to control for variations in patient impedance. RBW provides the maximum possible average current held for the optimum duration. Only the ZOLL RBW has demonstrated statistical clinical superiority to monophasic waveforms in peer-reviewed randomised controlled trials as well as through supporting data from more than 11,500 patients.2,3
The ZOLL AED Pro features:
- Real CPR Help® to help rescuers deliver optimal compressions and improve the likelihood of survival
- See-Thru CPR® to reduce the length of interruptions by removing compression artefact
- Flexible operating modes let the professional rescuer apply manual override to access more advanced capabilities, including heart rate displays, and to decide if and when to deliver treatment
- A three-lead cable for basic monitoring using ECG electrodes
- A high-resolution auto-gaining LCD display that keeps the ECG trace within a specific area, always displaying the gain so the rescuer can easily see the patient’s rhythm
- With CaseReview® detailed rescue performance data can be transferred easily via USB. Data on CPR rate, depth, release velocity, and compression fraction can be evaluated and used to improve future responder performance.
